Prayer in Meeting

This was my prayer in meeting this morning, though I did not speak it aloud.
Our Father who art in heaven,
Our Mother who art in the earth,
our Holy Spirit who art in each of us
and in all things living,
please awaken within us true knowledge of thee;
please come to us and abide within us
and move among us,
that we may bear good fruit,
fruit that lasts;
please give us this day and every day
the bread of your life
and quench our thirst for justice;
please guide us on the path of right living
and bring us back when we go astray;
please lead us into love and thankfulness and joy.
Amen

I like this. But here’s my version:
You who are, may we all know and honor you, may we all participate as you wish in the universe you are creating our lives within. Give us what’s good and appropriate for us and turn us away from all that would lead to harm for only You have the power and wisdom to know and accomplish these things.
